Alignment | Be Careful What You Ask For, You Might Just Get It! Part 1

Updated: Sep 26, 2023

God Says Ask and Ye Shall Receive!

It had to be May last year when I told God to use me. At that point, I began to take fasting seriously. I also started a daily scripture reading practice. I was building a relationship, and I felt He was calling me to go deeper. I had already taken a leap of faith by moving to Los Angeles. At this point, I had entered into a covenant with Him. I guess it was time to take our relationship to the next level. After the covenant stage, there's commitment. I talk about the "5 c's" to a partnership with God in Ground Up's throat chakra chapter. You can get your copy below. But back to my story. Where was I? O, yea, the covenant and the commitment. I recognized the covenant stage of our relationship en route to California. You would never believe that I made it there with less than $350, $200 of which I made on the way there. Now take into consideration the trip was from Houston, TX, and was a little more than a 22-hour drive. I stopped in Sedona, AZ, for a few nights and paid less than $70 for a night's stay at a luxury resort. Even that was a miracle because I would later get a refund for my stay there. All God! And get this, the name of the street of the resort was Portal lane. Ha! God has a sense of humor. The thing is, when we go into a covenant with Him, He handles all the details. Your battles become His, and His supply becomes yours. I distinguished this as the "covenant stage" because, on the trip, I kept seeing 18-wheeler trucks that said "Covenant" on the side. God is always speaking, but we sometimes fail to pick up on His voice and the signs.

Signs, Miracles and Wonders, Oh Boy!

If you don't know, here is the time to learn how God communicates with us. God is speaking when you see repeated phrases and/or hear songs that align with your intuition. Pay attention. I understood I was being led by God, which also means I canceled out everyone else's opinion about how I was moving because I understood no one is above God. I was learning to put Him first. Here is the first step to alignment, God comes first. I'll stop here for now. But be sure to come back for story time and part 2 of this blog post. Subscribe for notifications to know when it drops. Till next time Friends! Peace, blessings, and miracles.
