Is it Indecision or Worthiness?
I wondered what I would speak about on todays blog , and to be honest I am still wondering, but I dare not say I am confused. Usually my post are geared towards current energies and or personal experiences. Here lately the energies have been pretty dynamic. Dynamic as in highly emotional and all over the place. The other day I made a tweet saying feelings can be exhausting. At times, confusing. So if I had to speak on current energies, we’d be talking about feelings and (HSP) high sensory perception also known as highly sensitive people. I am both. Most creatives are. It is by way of our emotions that we create. Well, that and self-control and discipline. When you have control over your emotions, you can direct them accordingly. Of course this requires focus. As I stated in my book, Ground Up Self-Love Workbook, “When we gain the power and self-control to focus our emotions and not be led by them, we find they serve a higher purpose. Each feeling has a cost. Some are worth millions.” Thing is when you feel so many things you may or may not know what to focus on. Again, you could think you are confused. That’s typically the struggle for most if not all HSP’s. What do I focus on? Most HSP’s are diagnosed with ADHD. When we are pulled in so many directions, we cannot channel at the highest level. In other words, we are unable to give our all to one thing because everything has our attention. You could think you’re indecisive for that very reason. So how do we breakthrough indecision? Here’s how I have learned to do so.
Write down what you are feeling/thinking.
Take the emotion out of it. Ask yourself, what would I gain by doing/not doing or feeding this idea? Who/what am I feeding, distraction or destiny?
Decide what’s most important or most deserving of your attention at that time.
Create a to do list.
Say No to anything that pulls you away from your focus.
Bonus: Fasting is a great way to clear the clutter of your mental and emotional body.
Final Thoughts | I Am Enough!
As a HSP, I recognized I am great at many things. Not only am I naturally talented, I am also very resourceful. In addition to that discovery, I realized that although I have all those attributes, I would deplete my energy with tasks that did not advance my own mission and easily get consumed by trying to fix and be a resource to others. Not to say there is anything wrong with being an asset to our relationships. But it does not profit much when you do not give that same love and attention to yourself first. You have to believe you are worthy, and yes, you are enough. Go ahead, say it, I am enough and I am worthy of right decision and action. We have to learn to be our own best cheerleader. We must also consider language matters. If I would have succumbed to the term "confused" to explain my current state I may not have searched for a solution. By saying "I am wondering," it left me open for opportunity and flow. It is best to keep language that is solution oriented and not pity induced. Clearly, the solution was to begin writing and the blog post would take care of itself. Indecision or confusion can stifle the flow of creativity. As within, so without. It'd totally explain why HSP's, although extremely creative, lack direction. The truth is how can you pull someone else up, if you are down with them. That may sound harsh but it is reality. Think of the crab in a bucket mentality. One crab cannot get out of the bucket without climbing on top of the other. That is essentially what we are aiding in when we pour from an empty cup. We ought to feed one another from the overflow. In other words, how can you help someone out the hood if you have never made it out yourself.
“Can we serve the people in our life if we aren’t whole? Connections ought to be joyful and plenteous. If we are lacking, we can’t uplift the relationship.”

The kicker is we are all creatives, we just have to learn to tap in, and tap out. Tap into our own well of waters (emotions) and tap out of the matrix system and rat race. Emotions can be the seed that bears fruit from our soul system, the intuition, also known as our own personal matrix. Which is why they come up for observation or expression and can be used to channel creativity from which we create our reality. Simply put, they can serve as currency if we use them productively. Your feelings could lead to a hit song, a great blog, or your greatest business idea yet, who knows.
