New York Times wrote an article about Kyrie's activism back in November 2022. Click the image to check it out.

Spiritualist are often seen as conspiracy theorists.

I came across a video of Kyrie Irving in prayer on Twitter. I could not help but stop scrolling and listen. He was speaking about spiritual warfare and the monopoly that is America. He was talking my language so of course I wanted to hear more. Before you ask, no, not everything is a conspiracy. But we are in spiritual warfare. I am giving this disclaimer because anytime someone brings attention to the corruption in the United States, they are deemed conspiracy theorist as if it isn't evident. These people choose to look the other way as if they do not understand, everything is not always as it seems. The people who are in tune with themselves and the unseen tend to search out facts instead of taking things at face value. Many people are unaware of the spiritual realm because they are of the world, not just in it. With so much focus on the external world, they can be consumed by what they see without applying critical thinking. Since our eyes are witnesses, we tend to believe what we see without questioning its validity. But there is depth to life. Not everything is as it seems. Getting to the root of a matter requires vulnerability. We cannot be afraid to ask or answer questions. The trigger is not many people are vulnerable with themselves, hence the inability to be open with others. You can only meet another as deep as you have encountered yourself. Here is the development of intimacy, but we will get into that another day.

"Before you ask, no, not everything is a conspiracy. But we are in spiritual warfare."

You cannot fight what you cannot see.

Children of the light are in the world and not of it. From this perspective, the attachment level to all that happens under the sun is less impactful for those who are keepers of the light. And since we have the light within, we also can look past the surface. It is possible to see and not perceive. Perception requires depth, whereas sight can limit you to the physical world. You can see and still live in darkness. Que the saying, I once was blind, but now I see. Here is why Christ-consciousness is a necessity. We cannot fight battles we cannot see. Which is why it is said there is power in prayer. Our words are spirit. They can lift or tear down. There is so much I want to say about this. But we will get into the power of our word another day.

The price of fame!

Back to the price of fame. I love that Kyrie spoke about the assumptions the media makes based on an illusion, and not a complete picture. Often, we judge the lives of others (especially celebrities) based on a few exposures, scripted narratives, and less than 24 hours of their entire life. I speak about false idols we create with the “rich and famous” in my book, Ground Up Self-Love Workbook. You could think you want the spotlight until you learn all it entails. Celebrities are prisoners to their fame. They are censored puppets who must exist within lines of the acceptance of the elite, fans, and extremist groups. Money may be the motive but at what cost? Your soul! Not being able to show up as your authentic self without scrutiny and the fear of cancel culture? Sounds like a life in confinement. At some point, if they are not careful, these people could forget who they are (their own identity) and conform to the propaganda about who they should be. We see this happening with women in the industry and plastic surgery. Altering your body for the likes and views of another human could be a direct effect of someone who is insecure and disconnected from their true selves.

"Many people seek fame without understanding what it means to be famous. These people live in the public eye with little to no privacy. More exposure simply means greater opportunity for scrutiny. If you are sensitive to the opinions of others, I strongly advise you to reconsider your desire for fame. Yes, their lives are glamorized. At times, it can seem like it does not take sacrifice to receive notoriety or the spotlight. It is almost as if it happens overnight. But this is not always true, and it is evident it comes with a high price. It could cost you privacy and sometimes your sanity. Seeking the light outside can diminish the light within. "

Final Thoughts | Self-love starts with identity.

All week we have been tapping into solar plexus energy, a divine masculine frequency. The solar plexus is connected to our confidence, the ego and self-love. Oddly enough, it is hard to love yourself if you do not know who you are. Everything else is a ripple effect. The ego is the mask we put on when we are afraid to show up as our authentic self in the world. He tends to be wounded and causes us to operate from our trauma instead of a healed space. Here is when we search for the spotlight or as I like to call it, external validation. So how do you begin to find the light within?
