Drinks Up But Which One?! Tea Vs Water

This one really isn't a debate, at least not for me. They're both good for you and each one serves its purpose. I think the concern would be if you only consume one and not the other. Water is great for hydration, and tea can be liquid medicine. But the truth is some people struggle drinking water because it has no taste. You can drink all the tea you want and still not be hydrated. So my question would be, why are you drinking tea when you need water or vice versa. This debate is more about intention versus which is more beneficial because they both are. Now let me be clear. I'm not talking about your sugared down store bought iced tea. I'm specifically speaking of herbal tea in a bag. Herbal tea has been known for ages to be a healing agent. As a woman, I learned peppermint tea is great for menstrual cramps and relaxing the cervical lining in women for a better flow. We know lavender tea is awesome for a good nights rest and helps with anxiety and calming the nervous system. Ginger tea is the perfect antidote for immunity and lemon and honey tea can heal a raspy throat. It's no question, herbal tea is a drink we should consume more often, but if you're going to be outside in the heat for a long days work, I'd recommend drinking more water. So I guess that settles the tea vs water debate. If we had to choose, we'd say both!
